Sommerfelt Celebrates 10 Year Work Anniversary

Sandi Sommerfelt, Vice President of Operations shares, “I feel blessed to be a part of an organization that does so much for our community as well as its employees. Throughout these first 10 years at Grow Cedar Valley, I have always felt supported with opportunities for growth and development which has allowed me to expand professionally and offer new skills to the team.  It is exciting to be part of a team whose members’ unique skills align and bring synergy to our work and the community.”

In 2020, Sandi was awarded Cedar Valley SHRM’s Elevating HR Award. In her nomination, it shared that Sandi “demonstrates the characteristics mentioned as a part of the nomination. Her dedication to the well-being of each employee as well as the support and passion of our partner organizations have motivated her to spend lots of time outside of her traditional hours ensuring that financial assistance requests were completed accurately and that employees were cared for.”
