Grow Cedar Valley Launches Black-Owned Business Promotional Campaign

In commemoration of Black History Month, Grow Cedar Valley launched a promotional campaign to promote local black-owned businesses today entitled #GrowDiversity. The campaign highlights seven businesses with business profiles in their business directory, video promotions on their website and social media pages, and a feature in the Newsletter “EXTRA,” produced by Grow Cedar Valley. The seven featured businesses are also recipients of a sponsored yearly membership and mentorship with the organization to encourage business growth and diversity amongst the Grow Cedar Valley business community.

“Diversity and inclusion are on our list of priorities at Grow Cedar Valley,” said Director of Communications Nicole Sallis. “This is only the beginning of a diversity campaign that will highlight various minority businesses throughout the year, including veteran-owned and women-owned businesses.”
