Impacting the space where we live and work makes a difference. The Grow Cedar Valley Chamber Council works hard to be the conduit between your business and community, connecting the resources at Grow Cedar Valley that are working to bring good things about.
The council’s 2020 focus will continue to be on the two areas that were identified as important to the Cedar Valley, Talent/Work Force Development and Commercial Air Service for businesses and passengers.
Reaching and connecting with the amazing untapped talent in our community can bring growth opportunities for businesses. There is positive movement in the Cedar Valley labor force and now more than ever we need to double down on all talent attraction efforts. Grow Cedar Valley is excited to be leading conversations with a series of connecting events this year on our local journey to understanding our untapped talent.
Having the right team bringing unique and important perspectives to your business can be a key element of growth. Stay tuned for a new series of events this year focused on maximizing our untapped talent, including segments such as African Americans, Returning Citizens, LGTBQ+, Foreign-Born, Persons with Disability and Veterans.
An update from the Air Service Working Group will be shared with you next week.
We value and need your input and feedback. You can help to move the Cedar Valley in the right direction by reaching out to any of the current members to learn more. It’s rewarding to be involved and even more rewarding to see the difference you can make.
We’d love to have your thoughts on the council and our work.
