Government Relations Committee Begins New Season

The GCVAC Government Relations Committee, chaired by Mike McCrary, Lincoln Savings Bank, kicks of its new season on Friday, September 14, 2012. That day, the Committee will hear from Iowa Speaker of the House Kraig Paulsen of Cedar Rapids, who will share the House Republicans' plan for the 2013 Legislative Session. At its October 19 meeting, the Committee will assemble the 2013 GCVAC Legislative Policy Agenda, spelling out the priority issues the GCVAC will focus on during the upcoming session. Members of the Committee will consider the information from Speaker Paulsen, ideas generated by the Iowa Chamber Alliance and any issues or ideas raised by any of our GCVAC investors.
